I don't think that was the right schedule for tonight after all.

Would have been nice to know there wasn't a payout for tonight either before we got there.

SLD results anyone please? I know Mr. VP won but curious how many trucks there were and how my cousin placed with my truck.

I will post results this afternoon for all the classes.
On the money situation, there was a drivers meeting held before the pull started and drivers were given 3 choices to discuss and vote on what they wanted to do. I hate this but everybody saw the empty bleachers like I did. KOTTPA was going to pay out, that was never a question until the crowd did not come. Like was discussed at the drivers meeting, yes we could have paid out but it would have wiped out the points fund money and of course no one wanted to do that. It was a bad situation all the way around and I am so sorry this pull had this outcome.

IF that was the case the pull should have been cancelled. There's really no need for us to put all this wear and tear on our trucks for nothing.

A go home option was given which I was against . It would be hard to cancel a pull after all the trucks were there and the spectators didn`t show. I thought the situation was handled as it should have been, By the drivers. To make the best of a bad situation you normally carry on. What are you complaining about Bragg you should now have the satisfaction of whippin my butt again. Cheer up buddy and look at the points standing.

Would have been nice to know there wasn't a payout for tonight either before we got there. Like I said at the meeting, that was no one's fault but mine. We were trying to rent the fairgrounds in Lafayette for our benefit pull, it did not look very promising so we made the plans to have it in Albany, after the Albany pull was scheduled Lafayette called to tell us that we could rent the fairgrounds after all. I decided to go ahead and do so thinking that we could have full payout and still have money left to go in the points fund. I never thought for a moment that the pull would not pay out. About the time the pull was supposed to start and there was no crowd there was nothing to do but call a meeting to discuss the situation, and you know the rest. So there was supposed to be a payout. Nobody hates this more than I do.

Stuff happens, and we all know that. I respect the way that you handled it in calling the pullers together and discussing the situation and taking responsibility. Maybe next time an opportunity like this arises, you can call together the pullers at a pull and vote on whether to do it or not as the money in the points fund does belong to them. I think if that had been done, pullers would probably have voted to go and then it would have taken the burden off you personally when it didn't go so well.
