Now, let's see if I can recap last night.....
Benefit Pull
Income
Entry Fees $1,040.00
Gate $2,922.00
Sponsor-Pryor's Auto Spot $100.00
Total Income $4,062.00
Expense
Advertising $100.00
Trophies $34.45
Track Prep $150.00
Sled $650.00
Tech Officials $450.00
Total Expense $1,384.45
Net Income from Benefit Pull $2,677.55
Trophy Expense was low because there was a set of trophies already purchased but not used for a previous event. New plates were made for those and only the Powder Puff trophy purchased.
There were a total of 53 hooks last night. Thank you everyone for coming out. This is a big deal for the organization.
Thank you to Pickett Co Horseman's Assoc for partnering with KOTTPA on the use of your grounds. Byrdstown is an awesome place to pull and you are always extremely pleasant with which to work. Thank you to all of you who hooked and unhooked last night. I know that some classes helped to switch out and take care of each other. That worked out wonderfully. Thank you to everyone who provided giveaways-Carnahan Fencing, Big Meadow Oil Company, various gift certificates and items picked up by Beth Gentry, Gentry's Service Station, Burton Motorsports, Mike Froedge, Pat Pryor, and John McClellan. Thank you to Bud Cook for helping out with hitches and scales last night since we found ourselves 1 tech official short. Bud helped out and didn't charge anything for doing that. He is such an asset to KOTTPA. Thank you to all of the ladies who took care of the gate. That is not a fun spot to be, and they did a GREAT job. I'm afraid to mention names because I don't want to miss anybody. Thank you to JoAnn Beaty Cash and Joni Gentry for counting all of the gate money and putting up with my OCD way of wanting it done. You guys did an awesome job! Thank you to Kenneth Corbin for bringing the sled and giving us the discount he always has. Thank you Ashley Simpson for helping me all night (and every night). Most nights, you help me maintain my sanity. Also, thank you to Darren Burton, Brandon Burton, and Travis Mofield for helping me with basically whatever I needed taken somewhere, etc. They know my OCDness all too well. lol Thank you to David Burton for helping get banners up, lime on the track, etc. Thank you Wayne Poore, Jim Bob Sales, and Kenny West for all the hard work on the track and providing the equipment. Wow, I'm still not sure if I've covered everyone and everything. If I missed anyone, I truly did not mean to. This pull only comes together and is successful every year because of every puller and their family and friends. Thank you and God Bless! I think I'm ready for a nap......
